Island Vend (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Island Vend app and its App Clip.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Island Vend, we may collect:

• Account Information: Name, email, or other details you provide if you create an account.
• Payment Information: Processed securely by third-party payment providers; we do not store full payment card details.
• Transaction Data: Items purchased, order history, and related details.
• Device Data: Device type, operating system, and app version for analytics and troubleshooting.
• Location Data: Only if you grant permission, to show nearby vending machines.
• Phone Information: Used only on your device to support Pay.aw payment requests. This information is not transmitted to us or stored as part of your Island Vend account.

3. How We Use Information

• Process your orders and payments.
• Provide customer support.
• Improve app performance and user experience.
• Detect and prevent fraud or misuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing of Information

We may share limited data with:

• Service Providers: Such as payment processors, cloud hosting, and analytics providers.
• Authorities: If required by law or to protect safety and security.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
We never share your phone information used for Pay.aw; this stays on your device only.

5. Data Storage & Security

• Your account and transaction data are stored securely in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
• We use encryption and industry-standard safeguards to protect your information.
• Phone information for Pay.aw requests is not uploaded or stored by us.
• Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described above.
• Order & payment records: We retain records of orders and payments as required for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. When your account is deleted (see Section 6), these records are no longer linked to your name or email and cannot be used to identify you.

6. User Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal data.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing (e.g., location services).
• Contact us to exercise your rights.

Delete Your Account

You can delete your Island Vend account directly from within the app:

1. Open the Island Vend app and go to Account Overview.
2. Tap Delete Account and confirm the prompt.
3. Upon confirmation, we remove your personal account data (your name and email) from our active systems.

What remains: Information about past orders and payments is retained as required for business and legal purposes, but these records are no longer linked to your account or identifiable to you.

7. Children’s Privacy

Island Vend is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be published in the app and on our website.
